Freeeez Beeeez
Went to join Frisbee Indoor HAT Tournament yesterday. Its a one-day event, starts early in the morning and end late at evening. Some friends brought me into the field few days ago and I found that its really a fun game to play~ previously i didnt even think about joining the club.. till that day =) Hehee, thanks to my Sifus *few months back* for teaching me =)

A Different Experience.
Last weekend, I volunteered as a facilitator for the 30Hours Famine event which is organized under world vision. Bet most of you heard about it right? I personally do not know it till last month when one of the committee member approach me and asked me to join their team. I never know theres is such charitable event. Anyways, i'm glad to be part of them, helping those who are in need =) Before I talked about the event itself, let me just give a brief intro about this.
The 30 hour Famine is a global movement against hunger and poverty. Participants go without solid food for 30hours to get a glimpse of the dire conditions that children and families need to endure everyday. The Famine funds are used to improve the life of the poor and marginalized in the form of clean water, shelter, education, and vocational training. For more please log on to the official website =)
The day before the actual event, the committee members and facilitators met up for the final time in preparation.

Next morning, we woke up early. Had our breakfast - wantan mee in the car. Sorry Fung, make ur car stink like wad Z_z and thank u for sacrificing your beauty sleeeeep to bring us all the way to the stadium =D
Had a quick briefing before everything starts. Know your role, do your job! LoL~ the feeeeling is back!! The time when I used to become Soar Advisors, Welcome all the new kids in.. not afraid of being who I wanted to be, know new people =) have fun! enjoy talking to them =)

Guide the lost participants to their group. Had fun tagging people =) thats the job for the time being before the real thing start! 30hours of hunger and poverty! Ahhhh~ still doubting whether can I make it...
After the opening ceremony by some YB, the clock starts ticking... count down for the next 30hours. Uhhh Uhhh~~
There are invited guests too for the event in order to make the clock ticks faster.

Later, we went through some activities, running around the stadium. Oh well, we're that hungry.. tiring. It is true, we're just being a lucky b*stard to have everything we want, everything that we need. Thank you lord!
As the theme of this DIY camp - Light up their life. Every member in the group has given a candle and the facilitators were required to light up the candle for their group members. The picture below was the one from my group. Tornado - Rock your spirit! =)
Felt so sorry for neglecting half of the members from the group. I was forced to? No. Perhaps, I do not have much energy to do that. Fasting, is not an easy job. You have to play with your mental and at the same time, control your behavior. Living without solid food leads hunger, hunger leads frust, frust leads anger, anger leads to anything that is bad where ever you can imagine. Therefore, mind control is important. and all of us DID it! =)
Being we call off the day, we had our rounding sessions *miss SOAR much much* Feedbacks about the days, things to improve and run through the programs for Day 2. Fifteen hours left, before I close my eyes =)
The scenery of the stadium, when lights are partially off & hyper people went quiet. Snoooooozee~Around 430am, woke up by the fuzzy noise. people talking, loud footsteps & the its FREEEZING cold. Its okay, I had enough rest =)

End-of-Hols Trip
Had a really good time enjoying the last bit of holidays. Went to kuching last week with me bunch of friends. have lotsa fun there and the food there specially Xp Xp this is my first time there in Kuching City a.k.a Cat City. We didn't get to visit the city last time during RWMF! So this is it! Previously as i thought there will be lots of cat wondering around the city.. and i get to realize this is so so incorrect!! compared to other places, kuching has less cats.. guess this is not the reason why they named it as Cat City.. Google it urself bah if u're keen to know =)
