Ipoh MaLi~~

Wheeeeee~ im back in Miri !! Just came back from KL this afternoon and i guess its time for me to blog all about it before i start to get BUSY with my work =) Heheee. So last Friday, I flew to KL to first meet up with my F-A-M-I-L-Y, then we rented a car.. from there we drove all the way up to Ipoh.. what's with Ipoh? what are you doing there? Hahahaa.. for those of you who know sure thought that i'm asking st*pid question la hor... nyways, for those who don't know, im gonna let u know X) We were there to attend my elder Bro's Convocation~~~ *till now theres still someone asking, " I thought u only have one younger bro?".. Heheee, OoOOkay now u know =)

SO our journey started from KLIA, then headed straight down to Ipoh~
Daddy driving, koko navigating.. and the rest sit at the back.. camwhore talk-talk and sleeeeep~~ zZzzz had a great time with me family catching up with one another =) started to miss them edi~~
Stop by Tapah to have a break~ wanted to get some ice cream, we talked about it the whole journey before we get there... but we end up not buying.
continue the long long 2 and a half hour journey till we reach Ipoh Town~

Went down UTP (Bro's Ex- UNi) to get some stuffs, so i followed... the campus is superb freaking terrifically OMG huge~~ Only get to take one of the building - the mosque and u can imagine how HUGE it is~

NOt forget to mention that the hotel we stayed is the one WE (me, boon & elaine) stayed during our west msia trip! and also the one we (family) use to stay few years back.. this is my third time here in Ipoh by the way~ it was awesome as usual! the yummylicious indulging food especially! XP

..... hahaaa, and theres lotsa mirror around for u to SS !!

We had porridge steamboat as our dinner together with family friends (used to be staying near grandpa's place, but now they moved back to Ipoh) so we hang out~
then me and bro went out again to have some icy ice XD

The next day, we went few places to shop.. the so called "low yatt" (not sure bout the name), Ipoh parade & Jusco~ Bought lot of stuffs & i proudly announce that Im the BIG spender of the day! =S
Play around with the stuffs in the hyper market.. its so convenient that you can find almost everything here.. first, find the things that you want to buy, then choose your favourite colour.. the price are all reasonable.. the quality dont seems to be bad also ^^ i kinda like Ipoh somehow =D
Later I saw this!! then I texted me Deeeer Ling saying " Lam Fong is in Ipoh~~~~" hahaaa.. the crowd really scary mahh~ and when u look down from top, u will be really dizzy coz theres movement everywhere!! ahhh~ screw that and i continue to spend my own sweeet time walking around X)

the whole day gone for shopping. we pusing pusing around cant find the famous shop 'lou wong' for nga choi gai (tauge chicken) . Tada~ its actually blocked by the pasar malam...

eat together with "kueh tiaw" (hor fan) is their style~ mum is in love with the hor fan here. she ate that for all her 3meals that day, GENG!!

Heheee, NAH! my new toy =) had some trouble with it just now, glad that i have friends around who know how to fix it.. heheee, thanks friend!!

two years from now, it will be my turn liaw. how would i feeel that time? what do u think about graduation? should it be a happy? or the other way round? for the me right now, i think that it can be both! happy that i have completed the course but in a way imma gonna separate from all my beloved friends~ sad yet i've got to move on! awhhhh... cant imgine till that day comes.. i look forward to it anyways, seeing all my friends going up the stage to receive the scroll.. AWHH~

Had one of the BEST dinner that night~ we were superb hungry.. went back to freshen up ourselves then out we go to carik makans~ Bro brought us to the hawker stall where he used to come with his friends..
Fried Oyster, Chee Cheong Fan, Satay (beef,chicken,lamb), fried vege with sambal *thumb's up*, taiwanese sausages~ and of course! it wouldn't be complete without Ambala Somboi !!! wahahahaaa, one of the BEST drink that i have tried~wonder why some people dont like it... its nice what ! those never tried before MUST give it a try ooo~ they called it Buakulung here.. not sure if the spelling is correct =P

threee days... its just 3... really had a great time in ipoh and with my family... cant wait to go back !!

End-of-Hols Trip

Had a really good time enjoying the last bit of holidays. Went to kuching last week with me bunch of friends. have lotsa fun there and the food there specially Xp Xp this is my first time there in Kuching City a.k.a Cat City. We didn't get to visit the city last time during RWMF! So this is it! Previously as i thought there will be lots of cat wondering around the city.. and i get to realize this is so so incorrect!! compared to other places, kuching has less cats.. guess this is not the reason why they named it as Cat City.. Google it urself bah if u're keen to know =)

After all, I passed my exams!! Hahaha, a big "Yay" for that =) hope to do better this coming semester. Class commencing tomorrow, i got confused with the coloured time table =S lol, hopefully they change it by then XD nyways, i don't have class tomorrow! guess i'll be a kepo worm 2ml.. lol, see u people around campus! good night =)

Previous few post, i blog about what I did during my tuition free weeek... but thats NOT ALL about it.. After Mulu & Borneo Rainforest Trip, EVENTUALLY, I fly back to my home town (3rd-9th April). It was a SuRpRiSe Trip back home. Dad didnt know that, ONLY mom & Bro knew. Reason Because, it was dad's birthday.. He didnt expect me to be back cause I told him that I might go traveling with friends =) Wahlaaaaa~ He GOT shocked! & lil bro too~ Hehee, Good to be back! I really enjoyed every seconds back there in Labuan XD Nothing much actually, really miss those days, where u have ur family by ur side, u don't need to worry things much.. unlike back here.. u HAVE to do ALL on ur OWN.. nyways, thats LIFE ^^ I've got ALL me besties back here too. I'm really really really x 10000 really glad to have them =)

Next up, are the best things to do! Volunteeering Job! Yay~ Last few weekends, I participated in TWO of the CV! events, Orphanage Visitation & Beach Cleaning (17th April). Doing CHARITY & of course help those WHO are in Neeed =D

BOrneo Rainforest (29-30March)

The next day right after Mulu trip, again, I joined a trip to Borneo Rainforest organized by CUTEC. One of the engineering club in Curtin. Depart from campus at 1pm. 1hr+ on bus to Borneo Tropical Rainforest Resort. (Somewhere outer Miri)
Arrival. Unload items. Off we go to the camp site.
first time fixing own tent. seeems like they have proper camp site. with fan, table & chairs, & the most important, toilet!

After that, we continue on with our activity, which is Jungle Trekking!
2770Meter. Climbing up & slipping down the hill. Lols >< Half way through~
After 2hrs trekking, finally we're out from the Jungle. ^^V peace yo~

Dinner time!! We had our ice breaking session after that. knowing new friends. Then Night safari!! One of the scariest moment. All lights off, only torches. Walking deep dark in the jungle. Together with guide, showing all kinds of weird creatures. Especially Tarantulas!! awh, they can kill in 15minutes =S Walk walk xia... back to our campsite. took bath. play cards. night night =)

Next morning,
We had our breakfast first before we go for the high rope course! *wondering whats that ei?*

This is it! ropes hanging high from tree to tree. and yea. we're expected to climb up and walk from tree to tree. with safety measurement of course =)

We took a tour around the resort. Had our lunch before we leave. During the free time while waiting for the bus uncle to pick us up, I've really learn how to play frisbeeeee! thanks to both my sifu =) Kenny & Danny. Heheeee. It wasn't as easy as I used to think. My finger hurts =( Hahas, we had a great time doing log/recording videos too Hahas. Memories. Memories. Memories. High five mates!
